ASA Tire Systems Announces Partnership with Mitchell 1

NASHUA, NH (November 1, 2005) — Forged as part of a continuing effort to help independent tire dealers increase profitability and streamline operations, ASA Tire Systems announced a new partnership with Mitchell 1 today. The goal of the partnership is to give storeowners increased efficiencies in running their daily operations when using ASA’s TreadX point-of-sale system with Mitchell 1’s OnDemand5 Estimator.

ASA considers Mitchell 1’s OnDemand5 repair and estimating software a superior quality product and wants to help independent tire dealers make their salespeople more productive by integrating it with ASA’s TreadX software. Users will be able to create an estimate in Mitchell 1, and then quickly transfer the results back to a TreadX work order. This new interface helps to eliminate the time users spend re-keying repair and estimate orders from Mitchell 1 into a POS screen, and the costly errors that re-keying often generates.
