ASA Tire Systems Releases Newest Version of TireMaster

NASHUA, NH (November 3, 2008) — ASA Tire Systems announced today the release of both Versions 8.0.0 and 8.1.0 of their TireMaster® software.

The new version changes the underlying structure of TireMaster with an upgrade to Sybase® SQL Anywhere® 10. This upgrade improves database performance and security and is a move toward making TireMaster compatible with the Windows Vista® operating system. This upgrade also paves the way for new features available in TireMaster 8.1.

Another addition to Version 8.0 is the new Service Estimator. This allows tire dealers to easily and consistently remind customers about repairs at future visits, without having to repeatedly look up labor rates and part numbers. Once a mechanic has created an estimate, the information can be stored in the Service Estimator. Many times, a customer will have to budget repairs at intervals, or at a later date. The stored information can be retrieved from the customer records at any time. As the customer decides to do the work, a quick click of a button moves the repair item to a work order, or the Appointment Scheduler, leaving the repairs that still need to be done accessible for future reminders.

The new Service Estimator allows estimates for previously declined services to be stored with vehicle records and can be retrieved at any time.
