ASA Tire Systems' Bailout Program Inspires Many Contributors
NASHUA, NH (May 5, 2009) - ASA Tire Systems announced today that the response to the $1M Tire Dealer Bailout Program has inspired many of their partners to contribute to the success of the program.
The following ASA Tire Systems' business partners are offering programs to existing and new customers in addition to the grant monies awarded by ASA.
Activant Solutions Inc. is offering a discount off of the initial licensing fee for the Activant Integrated Service Estimator™ (ISE) software for ASA customers. This powerful software provides fast and accurate job estimating capabilities utilizing Activant's industry-leading catalog & connectivity solutions. The Activant ISE solution will help TreadX and TireMaster users expand their shops' capabilities to perform more services by saving time at the counter. "Activant is very excited to be able to join ASA in their commitment to helping tire dealers in this challenging economy," said Tom Aliotti, senior vice president and general manager of the Activant automotive business group. "This innovative approach helps tire dealers adopt the latest technology to improve or grow their businesses. We proudly join ASA in supporting their customers' success with innovative Activant solutions that not only help users find the right parts faster but also handle more business more efficiently."
Synergex is offering a percentage off licensing fees for SCO Unix to Linux migration, for existing customers wishing to add users, and for new customers joining the ASA Tire Systems family. "As partners of ASA Tire Systems, we work with them to advance their Synergy/DE-based TireMax application, by providing the latest technologies for them to incorporate into the application, and by supporting new platforms that become available on the market and are important to their customers," states Senior Synergy/DE account manager Nigel David. "We were pleased to extend this partnership to ASA Tires' customers and prospects by participating in this customer stimulus package. The offer includes significant cost savings that will greatly benefit tire dealerships across the country, especially during this time as we all work towards economic recovery."
Progress Software is also participating in the program. SonicWALL, Inc. has donated the firewall appliances on a case-by-case basis to tire dealers applying for grant funds through this program. The SonicWALL firewall appliances allow users to safely operate their software systems within a secure environment.
ASA has received over 200 applications and has granted almost 37% of the fund to date. Dealers can apply for the remaining funds via the ASA Tire Systems website, www.asaauto.com/bailout, by filling out a form, or by contacting an ASA representative directly at 603-889-8700.
