ASA Tire Systems Announces Exciting Personnel Developments
Nashua, NH (June 6, 2006) ASA Tire Systems, the leading software developer for the tire industry, announced today some exciting personnel developments.
Dean Rascoe has been promoted to Sales Manager. In his new role, Rascoe will lead ASA’s nationwide account management team. His expertise in the tire industry will facilitate ASA’s commitment to providing the highest level of satisfaction to their customers. With over a decade of experience with ASA Tire Systems, Rascoe offers a unique combination of software and industry experience that will serve their customers well.
Mark Lanter joins ASA as an Account Manager based in their Kirkland, WA office. Lanter comes to ASA Tire Systems from Waste Management, and has experience in the tire industry, working previously for Les Schwab Tires. Mark will care for existing customers located in California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington.
Bob Hazard joins ASA in the Nashua, NH office, as a Territory Manager. Hazard will be helping to grow the ASA family through new client acquisition in the Eastern United States and Canada. Hazard has worked in the wheel business for many years, and has spent the last eight as the owner of his own wheel distributor. Through this, Hazard has gained invaluable insight into the issues business owners in the automotive aftermarket face every day, a point of view that will prove to be invaluable in his new role.
Russ Johnson has been promoted to Manufacturer Interface Liaison, a newly created position at ASA Tire Systems. Johnson will now be responsible for all efforts involving manufacturer interfaces to the ASA product line. ASA Tire Systems’ software currently integrates with Goodyear, Michelin, Bridgestone and Bandag and ASA recognizes the importance of cultivating this technology. These interfaces enable ASA’s clientele to process information in an improved manner and ultimately help them become more profitable. Independent tire dealers will continue to operate and endorse software solutions based on available interfaces and Johnson’s new position will facilitate that effort for ASA. Johnson, a long-time industry expert, has been implementing tire solutions across North America for over 20 years.
Clyde Sheldon will spearhead the development of ASA’s Mobility Suite, a software package brought to market at the 2005 SEMA show, intended to take advantage of today’s exciting handheld and wireless technology. This technology will continue to grow rapidly as applications surrounding it are further developed. Sheldon has over 20 years of experience developing software solutions for the tire industry.
Jeff Manseau has been promoted to take full charge of customer services for ASA Tire Systems’ complete product line. This includes customer support, training, and product implementation. Manseau has been with ASA for over 10 years. His industry experience and strong customer relationships will foster his success in this new role, and further elevate the level of satisfaction ASA’s customers receive on a daily basis.
Raymond Turilli, Jr. will expand his role as Network Services Coordinator to take charge of ASA Tire Systems’ VPN and Wireless Showroom initiatives. Turilli has been with ASA for over 6 years and his experience with this technology will serve him well in this new endeavor. As this technology grows and becomes more widely accepted in the tire industry, VPN (virtual private network) installations and Wireless Showrooms are rapidly becoming more affordable and sought-after solutions for independent tire dealers. Turilli’s experience and know-how in this field will allow ASA to continue to offer the most up-to-date and exciting technology available in tire industry today.
Flora Lindsey will be heading up quality control for TreadX, ensuring the software product is delivered defect-free. TreadX is ASA’s enterprise-wide software system ideal for helping multi-location independent tire dealers and retreaders manage all facets of their businesses. Lindsey has an extensive background in the tire industry working at a tire dealership, as well as in software support, giving her the qualifications needed to excel in this arena.
Kathy Stevens will be joining the support team in ASA’s Nashua, NH office as a TireMax Support Analyst. Stevens comes to ASA with 11 years of experience at a leading NH independent tire dealer. Her previous experience working at an ASA Tire Systems’ customer location will bring a real-world perspective to ASA’s support team.
