Inventory Counts
Build a list, scan the shelf, let variance flag itself.
- Build an inventory list by item, category, group, or manufacturer, with range filters for counting a whole brand or bin range in one pass.
- Open the inventory list on the OMNI mobile app and tap Scan. Every successful scan increments that item's count automatically.
- Submit for approval. The system compares scanned quantity against on-hand and on-work-order, and surfaces any variance.
Receiving
Scan it off the truck, matched to the PO automatically.
- Open a receiving session from the Inventory module and select the relevant purchase order.
- As items are unloaded, scan each barcode and OMNI matches scanned items against the PO's line items.
- Review the results and submit. Received quantities sync back to your point-of-sale system.
Transfers
Scan stock as it moves so the quantities stay right.
- Open a transfer work order in the OMNI mobile app and tap Scan as you move the stock.
- Submit the transfer and the scanned quantities sync back to your point-of-sale system.

- On Hand and On WO (stock reserved against work orders) roll up to a Total, compared line-by-line against what was actually scanned.
- Any gap shows up as Variance, on the exact item, not buried in a summary count.
- Every submission keeps a full audit trail: submitted by, approved by, and timestamps for both.
- No count writes back to your POS until it's marked Approved.

What devices does it work with?

Does this replace my POS's inventory module?
No. OMNI is a companion, not a replacement. Counts, receipts, and transfers sync two-way with TireMaster and TireMaster Enterprise automatically. GTX and Pace inventory sync is on the roadmap.
How does receiving work?
Open a receiving session against an existing purchase order, scan items as they're unloaded, and OMNI matches each scan against the PO's line items. Review and submit, and received quantities sync back to your POS.
What happens if a count doesn't match the system?
The count lands in a Pending Approval queue. Your inventory manager reviews the variance, can make manual adjustments before approving.
Can I count by brand, category, or bin instead of my whole inventory?
Yes. Inventory lists can be built by item, category, group, or manufacturer, with range filters so you can count a full brand or bin range in a single pass.
Do my technicians automatically get inventory access?
No. Inventory Picker, Supervisor, and Admin are separate roles from Advisor and Technician. A team member can hold multiple roles, but access isn't automatic.
